We love bright displays — the brighter, the better.
But what's the best way to make a screen even brighter?
It turns out this question kept the best minds at Apple's labs busy, and their conclusion was: if you can't make a single LED panel brighter, the solution is — use two!
Apple has introduced OLED panels in the new iPads for the first time.
This display panel is essentially two panels bonded together, allowing peak brightness to reach 1,000 nits at full screen and 1,600 nits at peak brightness.
For comparison — the brightness of your computer monitor is typically 220 to 300 nits.
And of course, it wouldn't be Apple without a name that sheds some light 😉 on things — because this isn't your average company. So the new display is called
"Tandem OLED".

The new display is definitely a reason to consider upgrading, and as always, White Tiger customers enjoy early ordering directly from the official importer, as well as a 10% discount on all accessories.
