Google recently unveiled Genie 2 — its AI engine for video game generation.
The engine can take an image and generate up to 60 seconds of a playable game environment, navigable with a keyboard and mouse.

More likely, tools like Genie will assist in video game development by writing portions of the code, thereby shortening development timelines and reducing costs.
Since developing a high-end game currently requires many years and millions of dollars of investment, any such improvement could prove dramatic.
