This video is causing a stir in the gaming world — and unsurprisingly, it's connected to Elon Musk.
-
Musk posted the video to his Twitter account, showing himself completing level 150 in the video game *Diablo 4* in one minute and fifty-two seconds.
The catch is that the current world record stands at 1 minute and 59 seconds — which would vault Musk from 44th place straight to first, crowning him world champion.
A debate has now erupted over whether Musk actually achieved this feat with his own hands, or whether, as the world's richest man, he bought himself the title through cheating.
-
Musk added in his tweet (loosely translated):
"So many life lessons from a video game on the highest difficulty setting. It teaches you to see the Matrix, rather than just be part of it."
Musk is well known for his love of gaming and gamers — and on many counts, he has a point.
Gaming improves spatial awareness, the ability to manage an exceptionally large number of variables simultaneously, encourages creative thinking, relieves stress, builds social connections, and even teaches English.
In short — go play 😉.
