You have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to appear as a character in South Park — and surprisingly, it's a result of the damage caused by the California wildfires.
-
The wildfires that raged through California last summer left behind devastating destruction, with many residents having no home to return to.
A relief fund established to help those affected has found a particularly creative way to raise donations, through a collaboration with Comedy Central.
Everyone who donates to the relief fund will be entered into a raffle, and the lucky winner's likeness will be turned into a digital animation and embedded in an episode of South Park's upcoming season.

In case you were wondering — appearing in South Park is a kind of immortality.
The show has aired for 26 consecutive seasons, with more than 300 episodes and over a million viewers per season.
Here are a few more interesting facts you may not have known:
- Because the show deals with current events and satire, production of each episode begins just 6 days before broadcast, in order to stay relevant.
The broadcast deadline has been missed only once in the show's history, due to a power outage that shut down the studio.
- The South Park movie earned a Guinness World Record in 2001 as the animated film with the highest number of profanities.
- Jerry Seinfeld asked to appear on the show, but had second thoughts when he was offered the role of a turkey.
- George Clooney was offered the role of Stan's dog; he accepted and recorded several barks that did indeed make it to air.
- Every episode of the show features an alien character.
So if you're convinced you need to be there, you have until the 7th of the month to try your luck.
Good luck!
