TV anchors are human beings too.

They also couldn't sleep at night because of ballistic missiles flying over their heads.
They also wake up to news that is unbearable.
They also had to take their families and relocate somewhere safer.
And above all — they too have children or partners who were called up to defend the country in the middle of the night, without anyone knowing where they were going or when they'd be back.
And despite the fear that won't let go, the worry gnawing from within, and the dread of the unknown, they keep smiling at you from the screen as if everything is fine.

Amid the darkness and uncertainty that surround us, the team at Channel 10 — the Economy Channel — is fighting to showcase the good, to plant hope, and to put forward the best face of the Israeli economy.
If we have no economy, we have nothing, and the effort to focus on the bright spots that will help us lift our heads and survive is a mission of national importance.
It is never an easy mission, and in times like these it is doubly hard — yet this team keeps showing up every day with fire in their eyes, giving everything they have no matter the circumstances.

And to my colleagues, the anchors on the channel's team — I salute you.
None of the viewers at home know what you are dealing with, and that is proof that you are fulfilling your role in a way that commands nothing but admiration.
Next year, when we sit on the balcony counting migrating birds, know that it will be thanks to you as well 💖
