4,000 connections? More than one and a quarter million impressions?
These were numbers that seemed so far out of reach just over a year ago, when I first joined LinkedIn.

LinkedIn is a truly one-of-a-kind social network.
The audience here is exceptionally high-caliber, the language is professional and respectful, and the average level of education among its members is far higher than on any other social platform.

I read on LinkedIn because I love people, and I love experiencing the world through their perspectives.
I write on LinkedIn because I love writing, and I love the subjects I write about.
And that, in a nutshell, is all there is to it.
